6783 port not reachable, Google sign in just spins

I am trying to set this app up with my Win7 computer and my TouchPad.

My streamer status is stuck on "Your port 6783 is not reachable". How do I make it reachable? Is it through the firewall or the modem?

I try to sign in to the streamer network via my Google account and it just has the spinning thing, even after I make sure the sign in info is correct.

Frustrating to pay this much for an app that is not very user friendly so far, I hope I've just missed something that is easily fixed.

I think this is because you already installed Splashtop Streamer and tried to launch it again. I have the same isssue on my Win7 PC. The Streamer icon has disappeared on my right-side bar but the service is still running. Then it seems there is a conflicht launching the Streamer twice, because the port 673 is already listening for the 1st (vanished) instance of the Streamer. A fix for the Win7 Streamer version would be appreciated.

Thanks this helped a TON! I just killed the existing processes and restarted the launcher.
