SplashTop on TP : can't connect !!

Hi, it seems that my question has already been ask for another platform, but I wonder how it comes that it has not been resolved already ?

So, I succeded to connect once to my mac using Splashtop for touchpad, and at a time I may have been out of wifi reach and the app disconnected. Now, it won't connect anymore, whatever I do!!

I rebooted my mac (it is on Lion), I rebooted my Touchpad, I setup a DynDns account and all and then setup the app on the TP so that it connects to the new adress... nothing works!

Even if I am 30 cm away from my router and my mac, the app won't connect. Actually it says "could not reach 192.168.1.11 (which is the good adress btw) and if I tap to connect it says "cannot connect to computer". That's it.

What I can say is that trying to connect to the Mac through Dyndns takes less time than trying to connect directly to display the error message.

Please, have a quick answer to this since I'm sure I will not be alone to have this issue !!! Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaase !!!

UPDATE: it now works with IP adress settings, but it's damn slow! How come I just can't connect through my local LAN ?

UPDATE 2: I changed the port number and now it seems to work. Sometimes it stays in "internet discovery mode" and sometimes it goes back to Local IP... Don't know why though. It's a bit too bad since internet discovery mode is slower... I'm still looking to fix the issue!

UPDATE 3: Ok, so now I need to change the Port number each time I disconnect from the Touchpad app. Server side, it's still connected, but from the Touchpad I'm still getting "unable to connect to this computer". Oh, and now there is only "Internet Discovery" available, no more Local Lan... It begins to make me wonder how it worked the first time ? And now, why is it no more able to connect !!! ???

UPDATE 4: I rebooted my router and now it works like the first launch: direct LAN connection available. Now I'm afraid to close the card !! Waiting for Update 5 ;)

UPDATE 5: Well, thanks to myself it seems to work... so the big answer is: after opening the three ports needed on the router, you NEED to reboot the router !! Why it worked once without it and why it worked through internet with ports closed, I don't know. But for now, I'm happy :)

The onlu solution I founded, is uninsatalling streamer from my Mac 10.6.8, and reinstalling  again in the mac ,it is a neanderthal soution but it work.
