I also have 10.6.8 and got the same message. The streaming app asks for a password, I create one and then it just quits. Would be nice to know what is going on, it doesn't function as is.

Hi, Stan and Jon

It is a known issue currently, and the reason is our Streamer tried to install Soundflower which is needed for redirecting sound to iPad but it found that there is other version of Soundflower installed already. The workaround is manually remove soundflower extension in the System folder, then reinstall Splashtop Streamer v1.6.0.0 for Mac again.

Please try this workaround to see if there is any improvement. Also, our technical team should fix this issue soon in future release.

I'm having the same problem as above. Streamer just quits after I enter the password. I tried the work around several times to no avail. I have a non functioning app. Please help.
