Hi,
For issues with WebOS 3.0.4, a work around is to change the audio settings to 16 bit, 48000Hz.on Streamer computer (no audio device configured or wrong audio configurations may cause connection fail) We are investigating the new issue with 3.0.4.
how many bug reports and support questions does It take to get a response.?? I've replied in other topic streams thetnyou workaround does't work, and asked for further support, but am ignored. Please have a manager reply to this and explain how splashtop is going to resolve this issue
@James,
Sorry for late response, we are actively working on the next update recently.
We'll inform you once the update ready, please stay tuned.
Thanks for your kind patience.
I just purchased this software two days ago and have not been able to connect! Can I either have a refund or some support to get it to connect. I've tried everything on the board from disabling firewalls, rebooting etc to no avail. Does it just not work with the latest update? If so, then that should have been stated in the app store before download. I just keep getting the error message Cannot connect to your computer (even though the touchpad sees my laptop! Arrgh, quite frustrating.....
Me too. It will connect to local devices, but not over the web. I am also using gotomypc. and I have checked the name & IP address, but splashtop will still not connect
I came across this problem because I'm connecting to a server with no audio hardware. My workaround was to install a virtual audio card called "Virtual Audio Cable" from http://www.fox-magic.com/vac.php
They have a trial download that you can get free of charge, I have not figured out what the limitation of the trial is yet though. But it made it possible to connect again from my HP Touchpad after i had upgraded to WebOS 3.0.4.
