Ever since I've had splashtop installed on my Windows 7 Media Center I've had an issue with the extender service to my 360 continually disconnecting and reconnecting. It seems to resolve itself when I RDP in occasionally and sometimes I have to turn off the streamer in order to get a good connection. Is this an isolated incident or can anyone else confirm the same issues. I'm positive these issues were not occurring before splashtop installation and nothing in my network or on the computer has changed since.

I have the exact same problem, and also when I RDP in, strnagely enough, the discnnections stop. This is very important to me. Please fix.
Here are thr event log entries which occur when the extender connects.
An unauthorized window was detected while running Windows Media Center, could not retrieve the window title or file name.
The Media Center Extender session was terminated because an unauthorized window opened in the session.
I was really hoping to find an answer to this, but no one seems to have one.
I'm having the same exact issue. If I stop the "SplashTopStreamer" service (located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Splashtop\Splashtop Remote\Server\SRService.exe) and then disable it from starting again, my connection to Windows Media Center via my Xbox 360 is rock stable... if the "SplashTopStremer" service is enabled and running, I immediately get the "An unauthorized window was detected while running Windows Media Center, could not retrieve the window title or file name." and cannot connect to WMC through my 360.
I can duplicate this behavior 100% of the time using the above method, so it is indeed the Splashtop Streamer Service causing the issue. I really hope this gets read and something is done with it, because I've had to go back to using the built-in RDP service in Windows 7 until this gets ironed out and fixed.
I wanted to add my voice to this; I have exactly the same problem as everyone else here and it is 100% repeatable. This really means I can't use Splashtop Streamer on that PC. Please fix this ASAP.
I sent a support request direct to them via email on Feb 20, 2012 and this is the response I got:
Hi Eden,
I’m very sorry about this problem.
It is a known issue but currently we don’t have a solution…
Sorry…

That's disappointing.
Totally... it seems like such a simple fix... just stop that notification from popping up that sends the red flag to WMC
