I was trying to stream Minecraft, a video game, onto my netbook from my PC. The stream was very good, but the mouse was acting very very weird when I tried to play the game. The video game screen kept spinning when I moved the mouse.
Also, the netbook screen kept changing rotation. My intel drivers allow my monitor to be rotated. Weird? I could record a video you'd like to see an example.

Hi Tejas,
Thanks for your help.

I'm having a similar issue tryingto play oblivion. The mouse is way too sensitive. Like i barely nudge it and it goes way off the screen.
I'm also experiencing the same. It appears that the Y axis is far too sensitivity when doing a "right-click drag" in a game. If this can be fixed, this would literally be the most amazing remote desktop application available. Period. Until then, its pretty useless, unfortunately :(.
X axis does not appear to be too sensitive (but the Y axis problem could be possibly covering it up). This only appears to occur in the Windows client thus far when connecting to another Windows PC with Splashtop Streamer. (for example, I am experiencing this when i splashtop remote into my windows 7 PC from my windows 7 laptop.
Please address this, as alot of users and gamers I know are waiting for this fix to begin using this product and enjoying its benefits.
Thanks!
Shane
Also, let me note that even if you turn down sensitivity on the host and the client machines, there is no difference with the sensitivity. It doesn't even partially reduce the sensitivity.
Thanks,
Shane
Same mouse problem in Star Wars The Old Republic with splashtop remote on windwos 7 laptop and streamer on windows 7 desktop over LAN.
Too bad this software was almost perfect for remote gaming.
I hope this will be fixed soon.
Same issue as everyone & Then Ygwek. I'm using Mac Snow Leopard on my laptop to control my Mac Pro tower running Windows 7 to play Star Wars The Old Republic over Lan. The Mouse and track pad is totally uncontrollable. The in game camera spins wildly. I can use the keyboard in Windows to enter my password to start the game, but once I'm in game, my keyboard does not function. I'm disappointed that the basic functions are not working. That's why I bought the $10 app in the Apple App Store. Any suggestions on how to get the mouse or keyboard working?
Exactly the same for me. When is this issue going to be resolved? I find it absurd that after several months this is still not fixed. How much longer is it going to take? Now I wished I've never bought your application in the Mac App Store. Really, really disappointing. And you don't even have the decency of posting regular updates. I know that you don't own me anything but I bought this app for one reason, and one reason only. So that i could play some games on my macbook air. At least do not advertise what you cannot clearly deliver. And please make gamepads compatible with your application. This could be a workaround until you (if you) fix this mouse problem.

May be it will make this thread more visible to the dev team.
As Francisco said, advertising this software at conventions (skyrim on tablets at CES for exemple) and on the web site with remote gaming when mouse support is broken like that is not going to make happy customers.
It also seems that there is much more efforts put into solving problem on ios/android devices (more than 15 answered questions for ios/android client VS 1 answered question for PC/Mac client). Just saying ...
I had the same problem trying to play minecraft on my iMac. I could open inventory with the E key, but I couldn't move with the ASDW keys or change where I was looking with the mouse.
I also tried this with OS X's VNC (which unfortunately doesn't have sound, which is why Splashtop is so exciting!!!). I was able to move with the ASDW keys and change where I was looking with the mouse. However, the mouse did not behave the same way it does when I'm actually at the computer. For example, when I'm at my computer, I can spin to the left indefinitely by dragging the mouse to the left over and over. However, when I'm using VNC, I can only spin to the left until the mouse hits the edge of the window, at which point the mouse points outside the window and I can no longer spin around.
So the issue has something to do with the way that minecraft captures the mouse that does not work with either Splashtop or VNC.
I have noticed a similar problem with Splashtop and StarCraft II. In most respects, it works tremendously well! However, I usually like to move the view by dragging my mouse to the edge of the screen. It doesn't work so well with Splashtop, because the mouse has to be precisely at the edge of the screen to work. If it's outside the screen at all, the view no longer scrolls around.
If Splashtop could solve these mousing problems this would be one of the best applications for a household with multiple computers!

Same issue here with Star Wars: The Old Republic -> mouse just spins the camera around, no control possible. (Win7 32bit Server, Mac Client)
Hi all,
We do plan to support this feature, actually, our new product Splashtop THD for Android specially designed for playing games has already supported this feature in game mode for Skirym.
However, it's still not supported in other products by products positioning consideration and some technical concern. Anyway, our product team will try best to satisfy most of users and plan all good features into products.
Please stay tuned.
Add one more to the list. If the mouse problem could be fixed this would be awesome!
Incredibly annoying. Only to support users with android tablets (with Tegra 3) and servers that are nvidia based? I have no money to waste on either of those two things. Please update us on the support that is missing for pc/mac based clients for those of us using laptops for control, as well as if there is future (near i hope) support for AMD based video streaming/encoding on the server end. As of the moment I feel like I overpaid for a VNC connection suite I could have gotten for free. Such a brilliant product I would be happy to have paid twice for if it worked properly as advertised.
The response I got from support was somewhat cryptic and not helpful. They basically said it's hard to fix. Well, duh, yeah it's hard to fix. I wonder if it's hard to refund my money for a product that doesn't work.
Next step is to get out on the forums and make sure people know about the issue which apparently has been around for over a year now.
@Waclark,
Can you open a ticket for refund in the following and tell us which client do you use?

@Waclark,
Sorry, I just find you had open a ticket before. Please ignore the last comment.
please fix this splashtop is the best i have used except if the mouse wont work then we cant play game!
Still not fixed.
I've created an app that overlays a game controller over android apps designed just for this kind of thing. It is on the Play Market: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gphrost.Overplayed
I just released it and hope to bring more platforms and features, but until then it does the trick. You can also use it with x360ce xbox controller emulator with it for maximum game support: https://code.google.com/p/x360ce/
