Mac Remote Desktop won't save new port number

After disconnecting from the my windows based streamer PC, the Mac remote desktop port number reverts automatically to the default 6783. I need the Mac remote desktop to save the new port number of 11291 forever.

Yes, this started with version 1.0.7 and is extremely annoying!
