If you want to use the virtual keyboard on your BlackBerry PlayBook during a Splashtop Remote connection, you can still open it the same way you would normally open it on the PlayBook at any time:  Just swipe one finger from the bottom-left corner of the PlayBook frame toward the center of the screen.
