Why is there no Splash Pad icon on my Playbook?

I've installed the App and it shows up in the My World section of App World on my Playbook. However, no icon shows up on the Playbook itself. Why has it not installed? I've tried doing a hard shutdown, but nothing.

Hi,

There's no app icon on your Playbook even re-install again from app world?

Yes, unistalled and reintalled twice. The App always shows up in the "installed" or "uninstalled" list in "My World" in the App store but never actually shows up in the tray so that I can use it.

Hi,

If the purchased account(ID) on app world is same as the login account on Playbook, it should be able to install and get a Splashtop Remote icon on Playboom.

What's the OS version on your Playbook? we can try internal too.

Suggest to contact Blackberry support too, to see if they have idea about this issue.

I had upgraded to OS 2.0. That seems to have been the problem. I had another app that wouldn't work. Was advised to back-up and do a security wipe on the Playbook. Now they both work.

Thanks for the help.
