What I cant figure out is how to go back to no overlay at all in game mode, I am playing with keyboard and mouse and do not want an overlay. But since checking out the two included overlays there doesn't seem to be a way to disable. VERY frustrating. The other issue with game mode is that it doesnt capture your mouse from going to the menu mar which makes RTS games such as starcraft hard because you cant scroll around by bumping the bottom edge of the screen. But first and foremost we ened to be able to disable the overlay!
@Kaleb Thanks for the feedback! To disable the overlay, tap on the Android control bar at the bottom left (back icon - rotated u-turn icon), after entering game mode. You will remain and game mode and the overlay will disappear. To get it back simply use the 3-finger menu. We will look into making this feature more obvious in a future release. Thanks for the feedback on RTS games, like Starcraft. We will look into this as well.
That worked, thank you. A far more obvious way to remove would be a button on the toolbar that selects the overlay. Now if only it were true full-screen, or at the very least if game mode would 'trap' the mouse so that it cant make it to the menu bar. Thanks for the fast response!
Here is an idea, let us be able to use controllers like you did in the skyrim video you posted. Then we could play all kinds of games without needing drivers or a stupid on screen joypad. I had been waiting awhile for this and now I find out I wasted 7 dollars based on the video you had up before. Why is adding gamepad support so hard?
In fact, we do support the Logitech F310 USB game controller for ASUS Prime internally. If you have a Logitech F310, you could have a try on Prime. The reason why we didn't mention this in our app description is that we still lack a good framework to support all the popular game controllers. We are still working on this now. Please give us more time.
If you have the LogiTech F310, you can try it right now. If you don't have, please wait for our update. Our target is to support all the joysticks, not just a particular one.
If you have a 360 controller, you could have a try also. The 360 controller is similar to the Logitech F310.
But please note that the ASUS Prime has no common USB interface. You need one dock to connect a joystick to Prime.
The demo is authentic. We optimized code for the demo. But for the product, we want to provide a solution for all the joysticks, not only one or two.
Right. That's why we want one framework to support joystick fully, not only optimize for one joytick, for one game.
Please give us more time for this.
Great thanks for your suggestion. That's what we are going to do next step. That's better solution.
Sorry for that we can't provide unformal apk. Please be patient waiting for new update.
@Jason, the version you purchased is the same as what was shown at CES. The USB controller works for the model that Jiang mentioned above and several others. There are some models that may not work properly, but that is why Jiang mentioned we are working to provide better support. To use the USB controller, you should chose the skyrim gamepad choice and have your PC controls set to the default keys. The USB controller is mapped to the skyrim default keys.
You say that the on screen controls are mapped to default for skyrim But when i try to use my M!,M2 on screen it doesn't work.and when i go into the map screen and click to move my marker i push every button to try to confirm it so i can get out of the context box but none of the buttons work and the mouse pointer caliberation is way off and way to sensecitive on top of that.i mean if it wasn't for the promise of being able to play skyrim on my tablet i would have spent my $7 on USB/BT Joystick which cost only $4.49 and went through the trouble of manually mapping the buttons my self and useing my splashtop hd version to play it considering it works just as well!
batman arkham city or asylum would be me top choices of new games, star wars the old republic, and knights of the old republic would be great, and last but not least 007 Quantum of solace and blood stone would be just as great
Quick question, im new to splashtop. Just to make it clear, for now only SKYRIM is supported?
2) Are FPS games, COD and so on supported?
3) Is there a list compiled somewhere in the forums of supported games?
Thank you.
@Jerry, we were able to reproduce the M1/M2 problem and are investigating the issue now. We are also looking into better USB mouse support. Thanks for the feedback!
I wouldn't mind support for Fallout3/Fallout NV. With the V.A.T.S. aiming system on the games I can imagine it would be very playable.
The whole reason I bought this software was to play Dungeons and Dragons Online and Diablo 3. One of two is supported...make the other so. :-)
Have you done anything to support native joystick or keyboard/mouse input yet or are you still doing it game by game nonsence? Honestly I just want it to work with PCSX2 (pcsx2.net)
Legend of Grimrock
Star Wars: The Old Republic
I thinks this is great but will you export all this work to a non-tegra version? When you see the power of the Qualcomm S4 or other new CPU, I think you can have the same experience that you'll have on a Tegra 3.
Please add The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition (released in April 2012 in Steam). Touch profile of Portal 2 allow to play Witcher 2 in basic mode but I can't perform important actions like hiding my sword from guards, enter to character's stats and others.
Excuse for possible faults, my native language is Russian and only begginer in English.

The Binding of Isaac
It's a simple game with a max screen resolution of 1280x800
Any news about the controller support? I connect my 360 controller through a wireless dongle in the asus tf 700 but it doesn't work. I realy want to play fallout 3 or any other game with a controller.
Support for Crysis2, Left4Dead2, Metro2033, Batman (All) would be nice
Customizable Layouts!
AnDosBox is capable of mapping keys from most HID using either bluetooth or USB Host, it would seem that using a connectable HID that android can recognize could easily be mapped either automatically (in the case of HID Protocol such as keyboards) or manually when the HID is a more limited device such as a bluetooth controller. As for game compatibility, this is a poor list when one of the prime features of this application is to play games, games that are not officially supported seemingly are only limited by the poor frame-rate of the client. As most games follow a common schema for controls it would seem only natural that a similar workaround could be worked for most titles as I see no engine specific commonplace a each of the currently supported titles use very different proprietary game engines. Alternate keyboards seem to fail solely because the splashtop streamer registers keys being held as a singular press rather than a contiguous one.
I second Fallout 3 and Fallout N.V. I could play those over and over it never is exactly the same experience twice. Doesn't make sense only optimizing for Tegra 3 when the driver sources are available for almost everything.
I would love to see sleeping dogs supported!
I'd like to see RTS games in general supported.
I also had a question on whether the nyko bluetooth controller for tablets is or could be supported in remote gaming?
also i was just reading about the x-box controller compatibility up above and here's and idea:
throw in a program that lets you program the buttons on the controller for each game and then everyone has the controller layout they want
binding of isaac,portal,tf2 and l4d2
