Elliott requests that THD support this game, with the following suggestion:

"Right now the game works half-decent.  The main problem is trying to control the camera with a mouse that I have connected to my Transformer prime dock keyboard.  The mouse is very sensitive and the android mouse cursor doesn't match up to the PC mouse cursor under game mode.  Desktop mode works okay, but the mouse is so sensitive that I can't rotate the camera around my character as I move around, pretty frustrating.  Please add support for this game so that an connected mouse for android will work accordingly.

Same issue here. Please provide a workaround or get in contact with Bioware if it's their issue. I think the community would be very pleased getting this issue done...

Michael contributes with the following suggestion: Something to accommodate to an MMO. I think a 1-12 menu on bottom and page/page down button. We still need to keep an 'N' and 'M' as well. We need tab and spacebar too.

Grrr!!!

Are you running SW:TOR full screen or windowed?

Can you share your settings?

Thanks!

I ran it fullscreen-windowed.. so it looks fullscreen but it is actually windowed.  It is an option in the settings of the game.  Basically what would be nice is being able to play the game like on a laptop with full mouse support and keyboard support with all the controls working as they should.  I "could" achieve that with my transformer prime and keyboard dock and a usb mouse but the camera is horrible to try and control due to something software related.  If that could be fixed then it would be amazing.

Thanks Elliot.

I thought we were supposed to be able to run games fullscreen with THD and an nVidia GFX card?

Could anyone help to list the controls(keys) needed for this game? Let's assume we have no mouse here.

Like most MMOs you can reassign the keys to suit yourself.

1-0, -, and = activate your primary power tray

wasd with q&e for movement

Esc to bring up your options menu, including quitting the game

I'm able to run in quite smooth in fullscreen mode, but like the others here say - the mouse is unusable for looking around and I also cannot find a decent way for movement. Otherwise I have good response when opening menus, sending companions to work, etc.

Setup: Transformer Prime with keyboard dock, PC with Windows 7 x64, Intel i5 CPU, nVidia GTX 460 - connection over the internet, but I think my upload at home and the download line that I have the Prime connected to are both pretty good, so I get no lag.

That's only after 10 minutes of tests, but I think with one generic profile to fix movement and mouse issues, this could work great. Something like a profile for those of us that have keyboard docks and usb mouse/touchpad possibility.

Splashtop, I'm not trying to offend you but please stop wasting your time with creating game profiles.. just release a tool which we can use to map our own keys to each button of the controller.

Then you can focus on providing full mouse/keyboard support, which will then mean Splashtop will be compatible with anything that runs on a computer!

Tom is right.

We need to be able to make our own profiles and you (Splashtop) need to release a tool to allow us to do so.  This should include mapping screen regions to "keyboard keys", and I mean all the keys on a standard 101/102 key keyboard.

The specific issue with Splashtop and SW:TOR is that TOR is a game where everything is done with a right click and that is not remappable in the game.

Oh, and assuming there is no mouse means you won't be playing SW:TOR

I need to be able to press WASD on my Prime's keyboard to move... in pretty much every game.  That is stopping a lot of games from working, they key presses are just repeated.  I want to use this for Tera, some of the action keys (1-0 , -, =) will need to be held down to charge skills.  Please make the full keyboard register key press/release.  Once you do this, simply make us able to map a touchable button to a keypress which we can drag around so we can make our own layouts if not using a keyboard.

If I play Alan Wake for instance, WASD just makes me spaz out a little, while using the skyrim onscreen joystick works fine for movement.  Seems you need to make a profile in which the keyboard works correctly for gaming.

Also, the keyboard icon in the bottom right is terribly in the way, I want to hide it... I have a keyboard.  Please put it in the 3 touch menu.  When playing Starcraft, it works perfect, other than that button is in the way and it drives me into an insane rage when I can't click something because of it.

Otherwise, great product; can't wait to see controller support, and hopefully the above.

It seems that the WoW profile works perfectly well for SWTOR. Can move comfortably with WASD, mouse look is fine, and you can turn off the overlay if you have keyboard and mouse. Have no issues.

Still not working here, even with the WoW profile.  Same mouse issues as pretty much every game I've tried (except for Skyrim, because I don't freakin own Skyrim).  Dragon Age, Portal, Portal 2, SWTOR, Bioshock, Bioshock 2...you get the idea.  Mouse doesn't work, so it's pretty much unusable.
