1. Invoke the COMODO Internet Security software.

2. Click the Firewall tab and then click on the Network Security Policy option.

3. In the “Network Security Policy” window, click the Port Sets tab.

4. Click the Add button, then select A New Port Set... from the list, as shown below

5. The “Type name of Port Set” dialog box will appear. Type the word “Splashtop” in the empty field, then click the Apply button

6. Double-click on the “add ports here” text, as indicated below.

7. The “Add a New Port” dialog box will appear. Select the A port range button and enter 6783 and 6785 in the two fields, as shown below. (6783~6785 is the default port range defined by Splashtop Remote). Then click the Apply button.

8. You will be returned to the “Network Security Policy” window. Click the OK button.
Then select the Firewall tab again, and the Network Security Policy option again. This time, in the “Network Security Policy” window, select the Global Rules tab.

9. Click the Add button.

10. When the “Network Control Rule” dialog box appears, type the word “Splashtop” in the Description field. Then click the Destination Port tab.

11. Select A Set of Ports from the drop-down list in the Type field.

12. Select Splashtop from the drop-down list in the Ports field, then click the Apply button.

13. You will be returned to the “Network Security Policy” window. Click the OK button.
Then select the Firewall tab again, and the Network Security Policy option again. This time, in the “Network Security Policy” window, select the Predefined Policies tab.

14. Double-click the Trusted Application option

15. When the “Application Network Access Control” dialog box appears, click the Add... button

16. The “Network Control Rule” dialog box will then pop up. In it, click the Destination Port tab.

17. Select A Set of Ports from the drop-down list in the Type field.

18. Select Splashtop from the Ports drop-down list, then click the Apply button.

19. You will be returned to the “Application Network Access Control” dialog box. Click the Apply button.

20. You will then be returned back to the “Network Security Policy” window. Click the OK button and that’s it ─ you’re done!
