In addition, here are several things to take note of, when playing THD with your games:

1.  Please check the resolution setting of your game.

THD only supports 1280 x 720 or 1280 x 800 resolution for better performance.  Please check your game's video setting and make sure it uses 1280 x 720, 1280 x 768, or 1280 x 800 resolution.  For the desktop setting, don't worry.  THD will change the resolution of your computer when connecting.  But THD may fail to change your game's resolution setting.  So you still need to change the resolution setting of your game manually.

2.  About full-screen support:

It's true that only users who have an nVidia display card can enjoy full-screen gaming with THD.  Please check http://support-remote.splashtop.com/entries/21074486-i-want-to-be-able-to-run-skyrim-with-thd-in-full-screen-mode for details.

Some games, like Diablo, provide "full-screen windowed" or "windowed borderless" mode.  It's almost the same as full-screen.  If your computer can't run games in full-screen mode, please manually check the 'video option' of your game, and use "windowed borderless" mode.

If you can persuade ATI to share the interface with us or help to set up the connection between ATI and our company, we appreciate any assistance we can get.  We do want to support full-screen for all the display cards, but this requires cooperation from ATI.  You can write e-mail to us about this at:  support-android@splashtop.com .

3.  Discussion about Skyrim, PES2012, WOW, Civilization V, Diablo III, and Portal2:

We have a different page to discuss every game.  Please click the appropriate link below and share your suggestions with us.

4.  Tell us which game you want us to support.

5.  About external mouse and keyboard support

We did improve the external mouse and keyboard support for gamepad.  But we also know that there may be some issue with the combination of computers and games.  That is, for some computers and some games, the "mouse left-click and right-click" will not work when in full-screen mode.  However, they work when in "windowed-mode."  We are still working to understand why this happens and rectify it.  If you have any tips about this, please share them with us!

6.  About joystick support

We have performed some tasks to make the Logitech F310 joystic and XBox 360 wired joystic work for profile "Skyrim" and "PES2012."  But as of yet, we are not listing this as a formal function of our product.  We still have much work to do in order to fully support the joystick.  We need to investigate and learn more about this.

7.  How to hide on-screen control

I would like THD support (or Splashtop 2 support) on the iPhone/iPod touch soon. When will it be coming?

Hi everyone,

sorry for my poor english (i m french).

i found a FIX for the fullscreen games problem (like the message that say it can't have direct access to the screen and have to play in windowed mode) !

The problem is in a registry key that is badly configured.

just do that :

1 : Go to "Start" and tape "Run"

2 : tape "Regedit"

3 : go to HKEY_Current_User >> Software >> Splashtop inc. >> Splashtop remote server

4 : find the key called : NumOfDisplayPort

5 : double click on it and just set the value to "1" and click OK

6 : Warning ! The program will automatically reset the value to "2", to avoid that problem :

Right click on splashtop remote server folder (always in regedit) then "permissions" and "advanced" , and disable the right to set value for ALL USERS ! (you, admin, system, etc....)

just click okay you can now close all those window.

you can RESTART YOUR COMPUTER (or juste exit completely the streamer and relaunch it).

IT WORKED FOR ME ! TELL ME IF THIS DOESN T FIX YOUR FULLSCREEN PROBLEM.
