Do you still have a download for the client for a Windows desktop computer?

They do, you can download it here:

http://remotedl.splashtop.com/download/winclient/Splashtop_Remote_D...

You have to click on "Other Products" on their newly designed website and then scroll down til you see Windows.

They haven't made it very clear...

Ever since Splashtop 2, I can't access my computers very well from Computer to Computer...

Weird.  The link shows version 1.0.7.  Mine is 1.1.4.0.  Also the client no longer sees the new Splashtop 2 streamer systems logged in to Splashtop's service for remote access.  To get around this you need to configure port forwarding through your router and the client.

Is this because the client is looking at our Google accounts and the new Splashtop 2 uses Splashtop maintained account servers?

Vent time: Splashtop has been the most infuriating company I've dealt with.  Their product shows promise but has *many* bugs.  Although they have fixed them along the way, they give very little information about their product, just glossy web pages. And their site is ridiculous to navigate.

It looks like they are spinning off the client to an 'add-on' pack that will cost money.  I don't mind paying but I *do* mind being given a product as free then they break it and the replacement will cost without any roadmap or warning.

Shame on you Splashtop!

I knew it did updates, but what I thought weird is that the downloadable version isn't the latest version.
