I was excited to see a Splashtop client in the Windows 8 Store, but was quickly disappointed when I found out that it did not have ARM support.
I'm a long time Splashtop user coming from iPads/iPhones.
I haven't seen any posts related, so hopefully this question is not a duplicate.
Is there anyone from Splashtop monitoring these forums?
Sorry, Splashtop 2 currently only supports Windows 8, no WinRT.
Are there plans for an FT version? If not, I need to find an alternative that works (or is planning on supporting) on RT.
Add me to the list requesting a Windows RT client....PLEASE! I've used Splashtop from my HP TouchPad and my iPad. I don't want to have to give it up because there's no app for my new shiny Microsoft Surface. Windows RT is the tablet OS for the Windows platform...I would think Splashtop would develop that client app before the full desktop Windows 8 app?
I got to agree, it would be the killer app that would make me keep my surface RT!
By the way, I'm dictating this using services windows RT voice recognition!
services, by the way was copied and pasted using windows RT voice recognition!
I will re-ask my question in case the Splashtop folks missed it:
Are there plans for an RT version? If not, I need to find an alternative that works (or is planning on supporting) on RT.
I also would love to have an RT version...
Add my vote for splashtop on Windows RT. This should be very popular as soon as it is done. And thanks again for Splashtop on Webos. (Still using the Touchpad several hours a day, still happy with it and all the benefits of wireless charging and true multitasking.)
I would happily pay up to $10 for Splashtop on windows RT (and then the pay monthly thing too) - remote desktop sucks in comparison - what else can connect my android phone to my windows tablet to my MacBook pro? Incredible app - Windows RT would be a brilliant venture and I believe worth some money on the app store.
Splashtop client app for Win RT is coming soon, please stay tuned.
