Need to have 1280 x 800 for the Zoom as an option!!!  That is native for the Xoom and matches the display on my Laptop.  I can force it, but have to reset the Laptop after every connect.  Please make this a priority in your next droid update!

Would also like 1280X720 support for Xoom.  For me 1280x720 is preferable to native 1280x800 since it leaves room for the soft command bar at the bottom.  Would also like full screen app (game) support and internet discovery (features I understand are in development - just voicing support).  It will be interesting to see how today's release of Xoom bluetooth mouse support works in the app.

It would be great to be able to choose custom resolutions!  I'd like to match the native resolution of my device (Asus Eee Pad Transformer), 1280x800, which is not the same as my computers native resolution.

There is a problem with Asus Eee Transformer (and perhaps with other Honeycombs): the status bar takes 80 pixels (I think) on the bottom, so when the 1200x800 resolution is used, the screen on the remote computer is still not fully visible. Either the task bar gets cut, or the top portion. In other words, there is absolutely no way to see the entire Windows screen. It is still possible to work like this, but it is not kosher at all. 

Splashtop Remote HD for Android pad is just released. It supports 1280x800 resolution. You should have a try.

What about those of us that already bought Splashtop Remote?  I bought it assuming I'd be able to use it on my tablet.

My mac screen doesn't restore to native resolution after I exit the session! It stays blue. The mac is responsive to input, but the screen doesn't restore itself!

YOU WOULD HAVE TO BE A COMPUTER EXPERT TO GET THIS THING RUNNING.IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN GET MY MONEY BACK. I  ALREADY HAVE6 HOURS TRING TO GET THIS THING TO WORK.

Custom resolution, Splashtop remote is great but a custom resolution would be really neccessary. Can you change that? thanks Manuyo

My 26" desktop monitor is used at 1680 x 1050 - I can't change that on IPad because everything would be too small.  When I leave splashtop, my desktop which changes to what looks like 800x600 returns to the 1680 x 1050 but my desktop icons are rearranged.  This is decidedly annoying.  Isn't there any way I can prevent this?

@Isabel, to prevent your icons from moving and windows being resized, you should use the "native resolution" setting on the ipad client (Right blue arrow -> Advanced -> "Use computer's native display setting".  Yes, it will be small on the ipad; however, you can use 2-finger pinch/zoom to view it bigger.

Victor, when will we be able to keep Desktop Native Resolutions for the Android Apps?

@Tommy, we already support native resolutions on Splashtop HD, Amazon Fire, and NOOK.  You change the settings similarly as stated above for ipad.  Next to the computer you want to connect on the right side, you have an arrow icon.  Tap on it to configure connection settings for that computer.  Then click on Advanced to bring up the resolution choices.  Note: the Android Marketplace non-HD version does not currently support native resolutin, but it is coming...

Does anyone know when this Native Resolution will be available on the Non HD version on Android ?

Another request for support of native resolution for non-HD. I use a Samsung Galaxy Note which supports 1080 via HDMI out and 1280x800 on its own screen.

I cannot get a fullscreen res on my transformer tf-101 using a monitorless config on i7 server mac mini running lion server. This is unacceptable to me, neither res. is scaling properly... will there ever be a fix for this? why is the custom driver provided so lacking in resolution? I can define custom res. using switchdisplay, but none let me access fullscreen!! why?

DOES THIS HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE FACT THAT I CAN'T SEE MY MAC'S ENTIRE SCREEN? The resolution is set to "best fit," but I only see 2/3 of the screen. I don't think that this app works with Macs very well.

Yes Tammie, you need to ensure you have the latest splashtop installed on both pc and tablet and set resolution to native display.

What's your native resolution on iMac? 2560x1440?

If you get the resolution on iMac a little lower(and keep "use computer native resolution on ipad3"), is it helpful?

We still donot get the new ipad yet, your input will be very helpful for us to quickly address the issues.

My Splashtop Remote HD client just dies after connecting if I connect to my desktop running at 2560x1440.  If drop down the desktop resolution to 1920x1200, it connects fine.  This is unacceptable... especially because if I then go and change back to 2560x1440 by using Splashtop Remote to make the change, the application does not die and seems to work fine.  However by then my desktop icons and window sizing is already screwed.

At the very least you guys should be displaying an error message saying why the client is dying.

Will there be an update to support the new iPad's resolution that has just been launched? It would greatly help with remoting to a 27" 2560x1440 iMac resolution that I own.

For Windows Streamer ,we currently have a technical limitation to support below 2048, resolutions over 2048 may crash app while connecting.

For Mac streamer, 2560 is still supported but will be rescaled before streaming.

Here are the steps to request refund from Windows iTunes or Mac iTunes:

1.To begin the process of requesting a refund from the iTunes store, you will need to first open iTunes.
2.Navigate to your purchase history by clicking "Store">"View My Account">>"Purchase History."
3.Inside your Purchase History page, select "Report a Problem."
4.In the window that opens up to report your problem, describe your reason for requesting a refund. Be very polite and very detailed as to why you are requesting a refund and what exactly it is for.
5.That's it! Apple customer service should usually respond to you within 48 hours and let you know if your request has been granted.

I just boght this to use with my iPad 3 and run off of my Mac Book Pro. A few questions.

1, how can I access the bottom tool bar as mine is hidden unless i mouse down to it. I cant do that at the moment on plashtop on the ipad

2, Will you be allowing the ipads resolution to get up to 1900 x 1200?

3, how can I stop the program resizing my macbook pro down to 1024x800?

1. The touch interface on the ipad does not have a movable mouse to bring up the dock.  You can switch to "touchpad" mode with a 2-finger tap.  This makes the ipad interface like a big touchpad for moving the mouse around the desktop.  You can go in and out of this mode depending on your preference.

2. At this time we support 1024x768 resolutions and are investigating supporting the new ipad resolution; however, increasing the resolution uses more bandwidth on networks and can cause performance issues.

I would very much want to use 1920x1200 on my new iPad, and if that means using only a portion of a full resolution screen then that is ok by me. Not ideal but ok. 1024x768 is just too little to be of much use for my spreadsheets and so on, and dumbing a 1920x1200 image down to that resolution is unreadable on me new iPad. If there is a performance issue at full resolution then we would still have the option of reverting to other modes. I'd expect that some applications with little in the way of changing screen data (such as office applications) would be quite ok so long as the wi-fi connection is also ok.
