This would allow us to show on a projector any app we want to run remotely on our PC.

I agree. It would be a great feature. I wouldn't have to buy a tv tuner for streaming video/playing games on my tv. Let's hope that this feature gets added soon.
Yes.. I have a sales organization that would leverage this a lot to do technical demos
This would undoubtedly be the feature I would most like to have included.
Would love it if you could add this
This is the one piece that's lacking for me to really use this as a business app. I would no longer need to cart my laptop around to presentations.
This feature would be great, as we are trying to deploy ipads to instructors at a university. They could remote into their desktop and use the classroom projector. Presently we have to have APPS that kind of do the same thing...but not really.
I add my support to the previous comments. This would be a fantastic piece to add to this already wonderful app. It would then allow us to project whatever we are viewing to our students in class!
Would like to have this feature too! I would like to be able to run presentations directly from my PC over the remote app...
FYI, iPad 2 does this with either the Apple VGA adapter or the Apple HDMI adapter.
Seems it may be a hardware limitation for original iPad that it cannot do it.
Ipad2? The original iPad also has the VGA adapter... I came across this link with some developer help: http://mattgemmell.com/2010/06/01/ipad-vga-output
As a teacher, to be able to use the ipad around the school and to be able to plug and play into a projector would be the icing on the cake
Please add the ability to use Apple TV
+1 @Brandon for iPad 2 video out - HDMI and AirPlay Mirroring! iPad screen for keyboard + touch pad.
Many iOS apps already support HDMI video -- I watch many podcasts off my iPhone on my big screen TV in high-def. SkySafari and the NASA app also support video out -- I'm watching a live track of the Space Shuttle Atlantis right now from the NASA app on my iPhone on my TV -- tres cool.
This would be a great feature for Splashtop Remote.
I have an iPad ( not an iPad 2). Splashtop server in Windows. Is there a way to TV out the Splashtop iPad screen?. If not are there plans to have it?
Apple TV and HDMI output would be awesome and make the app even more useful for me.
Please, support iphone4 video out also.
This is the one feature that I can think of that is lacking. There are several apps that I use that have this including Atomic Web Browser and Netflix! I'd even be willing to pay for this as an in-app extra...
I use a beamer with 1280x 800 pixel and it would be *******great if the guys from splashtop could add a possibility to put my imac desktop to this beamer in full screen - - this is called tv out, i guess, no? (or at least a full screen while running a video) - - - - Thanks for your attention, hope to see this soon, Thank you!
Splashtop is easily the best remote on the market re. smooth streaming audio and video to the iPad.
And audio out is already there, so video out (composite) is surely the next best thing I'd love to have in Splashtop.
That would wirelessly transfer my Mac desktop to the beamer and I can watch whatever flash video via the iPad on the big screen, without the cable salad!
Hope to see this feature soon!
I don't want to necessarily connect an HDMI cable to my iPad for the video out. I would like to be able to select a button within the app to change from streaming the PC/Mac screen to the iPad to streaming the iPad screen to the PC/Mac comptuer. There are certain apps that you can only get on the iOS device that would be very benificial to be able to display on a projector temporarily while the PC/Mac is connected to the projector and I have the freedom to walk around the room with the iPad.
This would be a really cool feature. Proper TV out support, and the iPad could use trackpad mode for input. It would turn your living room TV into your PC, while you could sit on the couch and control it with the iPad.
it almost two year.....it still not support.....
I would like to keep this request alive. I have an iphone 4s and if I could output to true full screen (the way that the netflix app can) it would really put this app over the top. I wouldn't need to have a laptop, just a bluetooth keyboard and the hdmi cable so I could hook it to a monitor when I got to work. You could market it as "leave your laptop behind". I am willing to pay exorbitant prices for this features and as the tech saavy guy in my circles, I would convince all my friends to buy your product. How often does a customer make this claim?!
