allow copy/paste across platforms
Definitely a useful feature.
I would like to be able to copy and paste from within documents between my Windows 7 machine and my Motorola Xoom. Would also like to be able to copy files between platforms as well. Thanks!
Tapping the screen lets you select just one word at the time.
I'd like to be able to select more words or a whole sentence/paragrapgh and then copy/paste this
I have been using RDC (which comes free with OS X) and I can copy and paste fine from my mac to the PC. It's a pretty important feature for me and is likely to send me back there if it is not implemented in Splashtop
The issue here is the ability to copy and paste between an Android tablet and a PC or Mac. I'm sure there are already plenty of ways to copy between PC and Mac.
The issue isn't just the ability to copy and paste between an Android Tablet and a PC or Mac. The thread started as "allow copy/paste across platforms".
If you are working on a Mac, with a window open to your PC, there are many occasions when it is helpful to paste the clipboard from one machine into an application on the other. Without that Splashtop is crippled.
I would very much like to see the clipboards synchronized between the the server computer and the viewer (in my case, an HP touchpad). I should be able to copy a link on the touchpad (e.g. from an email or a webpage that I am already looking at) and paste it into the browser on the splashtop server.
From the iPad it's not possible to copy from the remote desktop back to the device. Even plain text doesn't copy over. Big oversight
Keep it simple, at least for first implementation. I'd be happy with just simple plain text copy/paste.
c 'mon guys n gals, teamviewer and logmein have been doing it for years!...ST IS Still my fave tho...lets keep it that way!
From a streamed PC to my iOS device PLEASE!!
I really need this.
+1 for me !
Is this feature going to be implemented? Please!
