This short video is intended as a reference for installing Splashtop Remote.  In this example, the system is Windows 7.  This configuration has Symantec Anti-virus, but we did not need to create exceptions.  Depending on your OS firewall, you may need to add exceptions for Splashtop Remote so that it is not blocked.

It would be VERY helpful if this video were not specific to Symantec. The windows firewall, for example, is far more common. It's a bit surprising that users need to figure this out on their own. I've spent two hours trying to get Splashtop to work" no dice.

Is there an uninstall video? Have tried uninstalling the product but the software is still there. Am unable to reinstall the product. Wish to reinstall, Please help.
