Does a cut/paste selection get added to both the local and remote clipboards?
Splashtop Remote sessions just stream audio, video and input between the PC/Mac and client device's display/speaker. So a cut/paste selection only affects the PC/Mac clipboard.
When using IPAD, while controlling a PC remotely, how can I do the cut-and-paste on IPAD. I can highlight the text with two fingers but am not sure how to copy and then paste. Please help. Tks
@Kuki: If you only want to do cut-n-paste to a different app in the remote computer, then one way you can try is to use the short-cut key combination, such as ctrl + x (or ctrl + c for copy) and ctrl + v to paste, so once you were able to get the text highlighted as you described, launch the keyboard and then press these key combination!
Hope this helps and good luck!

Copy and paste between the remote desktop and the client machine (an iPad in this case) is a really important feature to have. I often use Splashtop to access some information on my desktop e.g. a URL, a bit of code, some text saved on the computer, and this information (even plain text!) can't be copied over to the client right now. Please please implement the feature soon.
I think the question is regarding "clipboard syncing". I just received a refund for iTeleport because it claims Copy/Paste though doesn't have this function. As Dave says this is a vital function and even freeware programs on Linux like Reminna and on Windows like UltraVNC have this function. The only app on Mac to have this function is JollysFastVNC. The question goes unanswered in this forum so the question is asked again DOES SPLASHTOP HAVE CLIPBOARD SYNCING?
I have to agree with the need for synchronization between Mac / Mac / Pc / Pc of the Clipboard and copy files with Drag and Drop
