can't select a destination when installing

Just bought and downloaded the app and the desktop app.  Was going through the steps and can't get past the "select a destination, how do you want to install this software?"  there is nothing to click on and no where to go forward with this.  I need some help to get this going.

Hi all,

We are sorry still not able to support OS X 10.5.x by Splashtop Remote, and can't have a plan by resource limitation.

We really hope we have the chance to get you experience Splashtop Remote.

Hi again everyone, I posted the comment over a week ago, you need to pgradefrom 10.5 to snow leopard 10.6 then you won't have a problem, 10.5 doesn't meet the instalation requirements

I need some help. I am running OS X 10.6.8, I have triple checked all my versions (both on Ipad2 and my Macbook Pro), but I still get stuck at the Destination Select, and can't proceed to install the Streamer. I have rebooted, I don't know what else to do here, please help!

These clowns have no clue what they're doing. They've known about the issues that won't allow you to easily log into the STR app since at least last DECEMBER. And NO it does NOT work with Snow Leopard in spite of what they say. They only offer excuses about time and resources. It's time to move on from these losers. ewfuzzball

@Nurspec,

When the installer stops at Destination select page, have you tried to go back previous step and go next again to see if any difference?

@Splashtop. Do you think its legal you write at the bottom of the page, in small cases, that Streamer is not available for the system below Snow for Mac? Most of users have lover version of OSX and they are pissed off now paying for application 5 EURO and spendin their time with your application. We send you to the court. You are ignorant.

@Kelly  I'm also running 10.6.8 and don't know about Nurspec, but I tried going back previous steps, but no change.  I tried rebooting and starting over, but no change.  I'm still stuck.

Could you try this -

Reject/Unmount Splashtop Streamer disk image then execute it again and see if any difference.

**Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility: Select Splashtop Streamer in the left-side window and press the "unmount" or "Eject" button. Then, right-click and "remove" Splashtop Streamer from the left-side window.

I am with Tomeksacilo, not only is it not obvious on the app information that you need to use OS 10.6 it also does not say required, it says on the "to enjoy these latest features and improvements get 10.6"  this is vastly different than saying it will only work with 10.6. It would be like saying to enjoy the latest feature make sure you watch this DVD on your computer, clearly i can watch the DVD on my DVD player, but i will just miss a few features.

Anyone at Splashtop

Answer the question how do we get our money back for the app if we are unable to install your streamer software.  Simple question.

Refund totally controlled by Apple, please send a request from your purchase history.

Here are the steps to request refund from Windows iTunes or Mac iTunes could be a reference:

1.To begin the process of requesting a refund from the iTunes store, you will need to first open iTunes.
2.Navigate to your purchase history by clicking "Store">"View My Account">>"Purchase History."
3.Inside your Purchase History page, select "Report a Problem."
4.In the window that opens up to report your problem, describe your reason for requesting a refund. Be very polite and very detailed as to why you are requesting a refund and what exactly it is for.
5.That's it! Apple customer service should usually respond to you within 48 hours and let you know if your request has been granted.
