How do I delete a computer that I no longer use?

en10092007

  1. Open the Splashtop Remote screen on your iPad which lists all computers that have already been added.
  2. Select the computer in the list that you want to delete by swiping your finger over the  settings-button-in-added-listing.png icon.
note.gif  NOTE:  You must swipe your finger over the icon to make the Delete button appear.  (Tapping the  settings-button-in-added-listing.png icon would switch to another screen.)
  3. Tap the Delete button.

These instructions do not appear applicable to the iPod Touch version, where there is no "Edit" button as far as I can see.

To all and @Richard: you can also use this method "swipe with the finger over the computer profile to delete". Hope this helps!

@Michael, on the HP Touchpad, please try to very  slowly swipe from left to right - more like a drag.

For those with a Touchpad:  Place your finger in the middle or center screen of the connection that you want to remove; and then drag that selection from left to right.  It does not work by placing you finger on the settings-button-in-added-listing.png  and trying to slide that to the right.

Thanks James. That was the solution.

I spent an hour fussing over this and looking for answer. This took all of 3 minutes. Thank you so much.

This no longer works with Splashtop2.  Is there a way to manage your account to remove unused connections?

Here's what I got from customer support: In fact, our app currently doesn't allow users to delete computer manually. But if you don't log in that old computer for 30 days, it will be removed automatically.

    Hi all,

In next update of Splashtop 2, we'll add a new option to show/hide the unavailable Streamers, it may help if you don't want them to be shown.

It's coming soon, please stay tuned.

Ok, it's now March 2013 and I still cannot delete/hide phantom computers. What gives? This irritates the daylights out of me when a simple programming task takes months/years to implement! What's the deal here? Mark Former computer programmer.

In Splashtop2, you can hide all offline systems.  Go to Settings->Options and turn off "Show Offline Computers".

Well, that's part of the way. But why *not* also give the option of deleting computers you no longer need/have in Splashtop? Really, ain't no big thang!

This is basic feature: if I can add an entry I must be able to delete it as we'll! I hiding offline computers is not the same feature: the computer is online but I'm not authorised to access it anymore and I want to remove it from the list! After a year and many versions you still haven't found time to implement this?

@Jaff - when are you releasing the next update?  It's now 10 months later and there's still no way to delete computers from the personal list.
