When installing Splashtop Streamer for Mac (v126.96.36.199), you may sometimes get an alert like this:
The system extension "/System /Library/Extensions/Soundflower.kext' was installed improperly and cannot be used. Please try reinstalling it, or contact the product's vendor for an update.
Please ignore this message and restart your computer to see if all sound is working well on your computer.
If the sound is not working normally on your computer, please try these suggestions:
- Check the System Preferences/Sound/Output, and try muting and then un-muting the sound to see if there is any difference.
- You might want to try manually removing the soundflower extension in the System folder, then try re-installing Splashtop Streamer for Mac (v188.8.131.52) to see if there is any difference.
- If your computer is able to output sound, but your iPad can't output sound when connected via Splashtop Remote Desktop, please also check this topic for more info: [ http://support-remote.splashtop.com/entries/20392023-why-there-s-no-sound-streamed-to-my-tablet-phone ]
